Candice is also the author of the picture books, Chompsey Chomps Books and Sassafras and Her Teeny Tiny Tail, as well as the YA Southern Mystery, The Existence of Bea Pearl. Julie Allen was raised in Alabama and pursued animation at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She now resides on the Magnolia River in Alabama where she receives her mail and packages by boat. More about her illustrations can be found at her online portfolio.
