Pelco C20DW6X Overview
The 650 TVL True Day/Night WDR Dual Voltage Analog Box Camera (PAL) from Pelco uses a 1/3" CCD sensor to capture 650 TVL high resolution images. The camera's day/night function helps capture clear color images in low-light conditions with a minimum illumination of up to 0.13 lux. It uses an IR-cut filter to switch between color and B&W modes as the environmental lighting conditions change and the need for IR sensitivity arises. The WDR technology provides 120 dB dynamic range, which helps produce optimal image quality over a range of lighting conditions, including the presence of strong backlight.

The camera features autosensing power (24 VAC or 12 VDC with AC line lock or internal synchronization), automatic gain control (AGC), and digital noise reduction. It also offers automatic white balance (AWB) for difficult lighting situations and backlight compensation (BLC) that adjusts the picture to prevent objects from appearing dark due to strong backlight. The slow electronic shutter technology improves the illumination performance in low-light environments. The camera is equipped with configurable alarm in and alarm out functions for external devices such as IR lighting control, wiper operation, and local alerting upon external alarm.

Featuring a standard CS lens mount, this camera accepts fixed, manual, or auto iris (DC drive) lenses. The iris is controlled through a standard 4-pin square connector. Built-in analytical capabilities, including privacy zones, motion detection, and camera titles add to the camera's functionality. The on-screen configurable menus can be used to select a specific profile, customize and save camera settings for specific applications, and trigger alarm out functions. These menus can be accessed locally using the rear panel button or remotely using any Pelco controller with Pelco D or Coaxitron protocol.
