Epiphone Les Paul Standard Joe Bonamassa Bigsby from 2015, a limited edition of 1,000 pieces made Joe Bonamassa signature model with solid mahogany body, arched maple top, set mahogany neck with ’59 Rounded “D” neck profile, bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoidal pearl inlays, two hot Gibson USA Burstbucker 2 and 3 humbucker pickups, high quality Bigsby B700 tremolo tailpiece and nickel hardware in brilliant Inverness Green high gloss finish in a mint collector’s condition including. Joe Bonamassa is one of the best-known living blues guitarists of all time with his virtuosity, passionate playing style and love for the blues. He has been making history with his music for over 30 years, has received numerous Grammy nominations for his work and is known for his meticulous selection of instruments with his Nerdville collection.

To pay tribute to this unique musician, Epiphone launched a signature model in 2015, limited to 1,000 pieces, which combines all of Joe Bonamassa’s specifications. The result is an absolute premium high-end model and one of the best that Epiphone has to offer: this guitar is in no way inferior to a Gibson in terms of workmanship, sound and look and boasts the crème de la crème of hardware and features.

The construction of this Epiphone Joe Bonamassa Paula follows the principle that has been tried and tested since 1952: the solid mahogany body carries a maple top and is glued to the neck, which is also made of mahogany. The bound rosewood fingerboard has 22 medium jumbo frets which, in conjunction with the ’59-style rounded “D” neck profile, ensure comfortable playability.

The sound is provided by two original Gibson USA BurstBuckers in the neck and bridge position, which deliver an authentic, warm humbucker sound in the style of the legendary PAFs and are ideal for slightly distorted blues, but also cut a fine figure in other genres.

The Bigsby B700 vibrato allows the creation of gently shimmering vibrato sounds, while the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge ensures perfect vibration transmission and intonation.

The custom look with the Inverness Green high-gloss finish with fine nickel hardware and two different pairs of knobs give the guitar its unmistakable look.
