Pro 46 is a rubber based colored crepe paper masking tape suitable for a wide variety of smooth substrates as a general purpose tape. It can be used for packaging, bundling, binding, holding, splicing, banding, labeling, color coding, decorating and identification. The adhesive system is designed for excellent performance and adhesion to smooth substrates. It resists solvents and oil. The tape is of premium grade, printable, and flexible. Specifications include ASTM d6123/d6123m-07, type ii. Features include being printable, having good adhesion for short term projects, high temperature resistance, high conformability, good solvent resistance, and easy unwind. Applicable for packaging, book repair and binding, color coding and labeling, photo edging and cropping, chart tape, splicing, and decorative purposes. The backing material is colored crepe paper, and the adhesive material is rubber based. It has a tensile strength of 23 pounds per inch and 9 percent elongation. Adhesion to steel is 40 ounces per inch. The temperature range is from 25 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. The tape measures 60 yards in length, 1 inch in width, and has a thickness of 6.54 mils.
