Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka is the executive producer of the Pro Evolution Soccer game series. He was formerly the lead game designer of the ISS series since ISS Pro, and the lead game designer of the early PES games. His nickname, 'Seabass', is said to derive from his love of fishing.

Career[edit]
He was the lead game designer of the ISS series since ISS Pro during the late 1990s. He went on to become the lead game designer of the early PES games during the early 2000s, effectively leading the series into its golden age.

In 2008, Takatsuka came under criticism from fans of PES because they believed Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, was not up to the expected high standards of the series, although the series had a a bit of a rebirth in 2012, eventually leading to PES 2021 becoming what is considered to be the best football game ever made.

As of 2024, there's no information on what he's currently up to or if he's even still working at Konami. However, he isn't directly involved in the development of any eFootball game and in the last few years, he has only been credited in the "Special Thanks" sections of the games.
