PRS Santana MD 2008 Yellow Santana
this Santana MD (multi-dimensional) is the precursor to the Santana 25th anniversary model with the MD line being discontinued just a year after their introduction as production started on the 25th anniversary models.
The Santana MD features a 3-way pickup selector, sweet switch, master volume & tone controls, Santana wide-fat neck profile, and a tremolo bridge; all specs Santana had requested for the updated model. Tonally, this Santana MD gives everything from growling wails to sparkly cleans, and it looks great all the while.
MD stands for Multi-Dimensional: there’s an extra switch that enables the ‘Multidimensional Voice Control’ circuit, allowing a range of new tones. In the ‘off position, the controls work as standard master volume and tone controls.
