Vinyl LP pressing. Debut album from 2012 by the New York-based singer, songwriter and performer Lana Del Rey. She has described herself as a "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" and mentions Britney Spears, Thomas Newman, and Bruce Springsteen as her musical influences. Lana Del Rey's influences were visual as well as musical; David Lynch, soundtracks for `50s black and white movies, the sound of the Ferris at Coney Island, and fame itself. She lived in a New Jersey trailer park and decorated her home with flags, streamers, and Christmas lights regardless of the season. The album shines with color and vitality. It includes the singles 'Video Games' and 'Blue Jeans'.
